Ripe is an online music publication that covers the Australian music scene, and its best emerging artists. Established in 2012, it is run by a dedicated core team of music lovers, with the help of a small group of talented contributors.
The Ripe was founded in 2012 by Huw Nolan (Good Manners) and Tom Pitney (The Vine), who worked tirelessly to build it into a credible source for the best new music. Having become Ripe in 2015 with a new focus on only Australian music, Brandon John (Tone Deaf) took over operations, running the site with the help of a small team of music-lovers. As of 2017, Ripe is now co-run between a number of the alumni made up of Marcus Rimondini, Sarah Chavdaroska, Alex Gleeson and Matt Bladin.
